The Prairie Winds Concert Band provides
an opportunity for area instrumentalists to continue playing
and performing in the context of the concert
band, while serving the West Central area as a provider of
musical entertainment and community involvement.
Sorry, we have had to cancel the rest of the Spring 2020 season due to COVID-19. Summer Band also cancelled until August.
You can listen to some of our recent concerts on the Music page.
We strive to:
- To contribute positively to the musical
environment of the area we serve.
- To provide an opportunity for individual
musical expression and growth among the membership.
- To provide an opportunity for contact between
musicians of varying proficiencies for the purpose of continued
musical growth as well as community fellowship.
- To reaffim the community concert band position
in American music.
