The Prairie Winds Concert
Band
is a regional community band and is a valuable
resource to West Central Minnesota. We have members from many
towns in and
around Willmar,
including band directors, students, professional workers
and retired adults.
Bylaws and Constitution
Our year is broken down into 3 seasons.
- In the Fall we begin
practice in early September and have one or two concerts in
November.
- In the Winter season we start practice
in January and conclude with one or two concerts in March.
- Our summer season starts
in May with several Monday practices and then 5 concerts
in Willmar's Rice Park with sponsorship by Heritage Bank and the West Central Tribune and
popcorn provided by Walts
Car Wash and water by Willmar Water and Spas.
Our practices are normally held in the Willmar
Education and Arts Center at 611 SW 5th St on Monday nights
7-9pm.
